Home Remedies for Oliguria (Less amount of urine formation and passing)

  1. Two ground lesser cardamoms taken along with milk increase the flow of urine.
  2. Coconut and barley water, sugarcane juice and horse gram's juice helps in curing burning micturition.
  3. Water kept in a copper vessel used for drinking helps in the treatment.
  4. Green coriander mixed in buttermilk taken along with meals helps in the treatment.
  5. Boil 25 gms of hairs of com head in 250 grams of water; when one-third is left, sieve and drink as is (do not mix anything). Urine becomes clear and has a good flow. For pain in the kidney region take the above treatment twice a day, morning and evening. During pain, it can be taken every two to three hours. Sometimes a small stone in the kidney may also come out in two to four days after drinking this twice or thrice a day.
  6. Intake of bottle gourd (loki) is very useful for urinary ailments if taken regularly. Boil bottle gourd, sieve and have its juice.
